Peter Pilotto Is Print Perfect For Fall 2014

Hot on the heels of their much-lauded collaboration with Target, Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos turned out a vibrant Fall 2014 collection for their main line that's just as colorful and spirited as the clothes their customers have come to know and love.
This offering brought on an exercise in surface decoration (new territory Mary Katrantzou, another print-focused London designer, is also venturing into this season) that saw little chips of opaque plastic sewn onto dresses and plastic tubes arranged into zigzags that cascaded down the front of dresses and coats.
Where those decorations weren't applied, prints of mountains were used to make dresses, puffer jackets, and full-length coats stand apart from the rest of the geometric collection.
